Decades ago and to this day, I enjoyed book stores: Borders, Barnes & Noble…just to name a few. Books stores are a literary “Disneyland'' for book lovers and the like. Books are my “friends” and I enjoy being in their physical presence as well as holding one in my hands and reading the words on the pages. Reading is like breathing for me and I am mindful of what I read as words are powerful, they touch the soul and influence our thoughts and actions. Recently, I was out with a friend strolling through a local bookstore in Davis. As I was leisurely strolling down the aisles and exploring the names of my new “friends”, I stumbled upon a tea blend by a new tea merchant. The tea was titled “love potion” by Aesthete Teas and as I read the ingredients, I was intrigued by the blend. I bought a batch of the tea and brought it home to brew.
